PRESCHOOL NEWS
St. Mark’s Preschool opened the week of September 1st with 54 children enrolled. We are blessed to have a wonderful staff to guide and teach the young children.
It is our prayer that we can help parents raise their children in a God pleasing manner as they learn and play in our caring, Christian environment. At St. Mark’s Preschool, we as teachers help the children feel secure and stimulated to discover their relationship with God, themselves, others, and to explore God’s world around them.
St. Mark’s is blessed as well to have Ministry members who are willing to share their time and talents with our Preschool. This year’s ministry members include: Marlys Hartman as chairperson, Kim Grosskreutz, Terri Kankelfitz, Peggy Kniess, Jason Kniess, Dan Brandt and Sue Drews. Thank you for your willingness to serve in this manner.
Our Jesus Time Bible stories are about the beautiful world God created for us to enjoy. As the fall weather changes the children are investigating apples and pumpkins, colorful leaves and bugs. Each day is an adventure here at Preschool. Next week, our 4 year-olds will be going to the Leigh Yawkee Woodson Art Museum to view the “Birds In Art” exhibit. In our Jesus Time, we will learn that God, who even takes care of birds will certainly take care of each of them. It’s a privilege to share the message of God’s love with our Preschool children each class session.
